So, I have a razor scooter and I am looking to get some FUN exercise and wondering if a few hours on one (or using it for transportation) is good exercise. What kind of exercise is a half hour on one of these equivalent to?

ANY exercise is better than no exercise. So if playing with one gets you moving more than you would without it, then it is GOOD.
Now, is it idea, optimal exercise? Probably not. For that, you need aerobic exercise that keeps your heart rate elevated to a target level (dependent on age and physical fitness) for 30 or more minutes. A heart monitor the best tool to achieve this optimal level, but a general rule of thumb is “breathing heavy, but not so hard to make normal speech difficult”
