I just bought a scooter for $100 off my neighbor who doesn’t have the registration or pink slip, and has 2002 tags on there. It was his uncle’s scooter and has no access to the papers etc. and I know for sure it’s not stolen.
How do I get it registered legit? Can I avoid the $400 back-pay of registration?
I just want to ride this scooter, but $400 for registration?! What’s the best way to get this in my name the fastest and cheapest? Is there any tricks of the trade?

Thanks for the info. Problem is, there is NO way to get ahold of the Original owner, and my neighbor just doesn’t want to deal with any paperwork, phone calls etc. That’s why it was so cheap…he just wants to get rid of it without any extra work or effort. How does a non-op work if you file it 4 years later? Man, the DMV is such a PIA!

I’ve been together with my boyfriend for 6 months now and i can truly say that i love him and as far as i know he feels the same. i am 18 and he’ll be 18 pretty soon too. He’s really friendly and really nice to be with and he’s really against cheating and drugs (can’t say for smoking because we both smoke) and yes i believe him on this one. anyhow he’s been really nice to me all the time and i really can’t remember time when he was mean or something. yes he has his flaws but that doesn’t bother me. So when i first brought him to my house to meet my parents my dad was against him because his religion is different and mostly because his dad is from other country, my mom kinda accepted him saying it’s my choice who I’m with. so ok it went really great for the first 3 months (except my dad always pressuring on me how he doesn’t like him etc.). then the problems started. he had really and i mean really difficult childhood. his mom left him as soon as he was born which made him live with his dad who was at home rarely. then his mom wanted him back (she was beating him along with her partner at that time) and after a year threw him into that facility where troublesome kids or something like that go to and left him there for 6 years or so. all that lead to him growing up on his own which resulted in him making troubles. after that his dad got him out and then his step mom was beating him and treating him worse than an animal (he was locked out in the middle of the night, didn’t get anything to eat etc. and his dad was still rarely home coz of his job). And of course he was getting into more troubles by the day. He had troubles with police and social workers and i don’t know what else (that’s not even half of it). Tho the point is he told me all that the first week we started dating and i knew very well what I’m getting myself into. Even so it went well and i told my mom what he went through and stuff. Now a month ago they wanted to throw him into some minor jail-like thing because he was falsely accused of stealing stuff like scooters and cars which he never even saw in his life. So one day he got fed up with everything and packed up clothes and went to critical center (where minors who has troubles in family go to) and his dad called the police saying that he’s missing. And of course the first thing the police did was come to my house asking if he’s here (which he was not). After they left my dad snapped saying that I’m not allowed to see him again, that i have to break up with him, that we cant afford police here etc etc and my mom was of course the same. Ok so i talked with him and we secretly stayed together and were meeting up for a month and then my parents found out that i was calling him again so they attacked me saying if crazy and as log as i live under their roof i am BANNED to see him and really some random stuff. They’ve taken my cell phone too. I cannot go out unless she drives me there and check on me every 5 mins and drives me back home. I feel like I’m in a prison. One day when she was driving me to a friend she started saying stuff like how I’m not supposed to see him again and that i deserve better guy than he is and that she really loves me and only wants the best for me. so i told her that reaally i can see how she loves me and want the best for me without me being happy and then asked her if I’m choosing who i fall in love with and she said yes. like, seriously, i pick dudes i fall in love with? anyhow i told her back then why isn’t she with some rich dude then if she can choose who she’ll love. then she was quiet and said your dad was making troubles but not as big as your bf does. then we were fighting some and she said that she won’t say anything to me when I’ll be living on my own which lead me to asking ‘so the faster i leave the better?’ and she said ‘if you think so then yes.’.

so i was thinking if i should go living on my own(which brings another problem – I’m still have 1 year of high school so i don’t know how i would financially make it up because I don’t know if i could get any jobs), or what? i have no idea what to do and i will most definitely not broke up with my boyfriend so that’s not an option. i really need help, they’re making my life a living hell (i lost weight coz of all the pressure and stress from them, i haven’t been eating much lately, i was smoking but it tripled now, my head hurts all the time, I’m shivering like it’s cold even when it’s not, etc.). I’m pretty lost and messed up. i don’t know what to do with my parents. i can say that i hate my dad ever since i can remember (he’s been making my life as miserable as possible ALWAYS) so talking with him is not an option and same goes with my mom – what she says is always right and no other way is acceptab

What are those thing for kids where its little and like a car but no covering and you sit in it and theres a steering reel and you drive it and yaaa its sorta like an electric scooter i guess idk they have them at kmart what are they called???

I really need some ideas and its closing in so fast, because I have to ship my gifts as I live in NY and they live in OH but I cannot let my little siblings not get anything from big sister! So! What do you get kids that have everything? The 12 year old is easy, I have him taken care of and I got him some pretty cool things that I know he would never get like a Triops kit, some cool gadgets for his ipod, etc.

This is what I have. I have a 7 year old brother, he is a rugged little boy, he loves bikes, scooters (but has one of everything) he loves playing soccer and football, he goes fishing, he loves video games but I want to get him something original and something he will be surprised.

Also, my little sister is 5. She is a PRINCESS. She doesn’t like normal, 5 year old clothes, they have to look grown up, but what 5 year old just wants clothes? She likes barbies, and pretty things but what is a toy or something cool that most likely doesn’t already have???
