k so I am a STRAIGHT guy. I promise! and I just bought a classic red vespa and I think its pretty awesome. I like the classic style and I love the gas milage and its way fun to ride. However, this jerk I work with says its the gayest thing he has ever seen. Not that his opinion really matters cause he is one of those kids who is adicted to online video games and he blogs about his online video games in his free time. haha but any way I’m serriously curious if a girl sees a guy on a “classic red vespa” (scooter) does she think “wow cute guy….to bad he is gay…” or “thats awesome”?
yes its pretty fast. its a 150cc with some modifications to make it go faster
Ok let me expand on the past alittle here. I had a 99 ducati monster 750. it was fast. very fast. i didnt like it. it was uncomfortable to ride. i had one girl wave at me the whole time i had it.
my vespa has a 4 speed manual trans. so it does shift. its not even as close to as fast as my ducati but thats why i like it. it feels like your going fast but your not.
do chicks dig guys that ride scooters?

Eh….no.
I don’t think girls will think you’re gay, they just won’t think you’re badass. But believe me, chicks will “dig” you more if you got a Suzuki GSX-R or any other super sexy sportbike. Vespa… now that’s something your girl would be riding.
FYI, 150cc does not go fast. You haven’t experienced “fast” or “fun to ride” until you’ve been on a Hayabusa (or anything with a manual transmission)
Sure, by all means keep the Vespa in your garage if you like it. Unless you wanna sell it and buy a something a bit more manly and powerful like a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, which I HIGHLY recommend. One of the most renowned starter bikes because of its low price ($3499 brand new, MSRP) and close similarities to its bigger brothers, just a smaller engine.
Or if you still want a scooter check out the Honda PCX. Slightly more aggressive looking than a Vespa.

If you do decide to get something else, go by comfort. You’ll be sitting on it all the time and it’s no fun to ride on a bed of nails and have a sore back after 30 minutes. But if you want chicks to “dig” you, get a real motorcycle.
