Do 12v 7ah lead batteries need to be fully drained before charging? This applies to a Razor E325 scooter?

I’m trying to determine if I can plug it in after every use, before the batteries are fully drained, or if that will compromise the life or capacity of the batteries.

if you kill your battery – discharging it below 80% of the batteries rate capacity needs to be recharged. You voltage will be down around 9.5 volts, which would be a little low for me. recharge.
now you don’t want to over-charge the battery either so a “smart charger” is a good idea. and select the battery type to be charged on the charger. you don’t want to under charge.
if it’s a wet cell battery keep an eye on the water level and fill ONLY WITH DISTILLED WATER.
if it’s a sealed battery no water needed.

Yes,it’s best to top them off after each use.Letting them deplete before charging is the method to use with NiCad batteries, not lead acid.Deep discharging the lead acid types will shorten the lifespan.
