its a 2003 quinjian manufactured scooter, i cleaned out the carb, put a new battery and changed the spark plug, im getting a spark! drained the old gas and put new gas in. kill switch’s not on. my scooter still wont start. any idea?
checked the spark plug test again…and determined that im getting one spark every six kick starts. i dont think im getting enough fire.
tried strater fluid and put a bit of gas like you said . – nothing -any other ideas

Is the fuel filter clogged? There might be a clog in the filter or in the actual fuel line somewhere. Try this. Take out the spark plug. Dip a little bit of gasoline, just a few drips, right into the hole and then put the plug back in again. IF it starts for a second and then dies, you know it’s a fuel delivery problem. If it still won’t start, you have a spark problem.
did you put the spark plug cap back on ? ha
